Our Story

Appel's Tire Service traces its roots back to 1930, when Steve Appel helped establish a local cooperative supplying fuel, seed, tires, and other farm essentials to the Millville community. After returning from the Korean War in 1953, Francis Appel took over the business and renamed it Appel's Tire Service, laying the foundation for the company we know today. In the 1990s, Francis's son Dave Appel assumed ownership, continuing the tradition of exceptional service and community support. Since 2014, Paul and Joe Appel have proudly carried the business into its fourth generation, upholding the same values of honesty, quality, and personalized service that have defined Appel's Tire Service for nearly a century.
